Back to the Future Costumes
Back to the Future is a classsic 80s movie and, with the growth in popularity of the 80s fancy dress party, the demand for Back to the Future fancy dress costumes has increased. Essentially, if you want to go to a fancy dress party dressed as a character from Back to the Future you have 2 options:
- A Doc Brown costume (with lab coat, crazy white hair, a plutonium filled metal case, a clipboard and glasses).
- A Marty McFly costume (with red bodywarmer, pale blue jeans, a skateboard, an old school Walkman, braces and Nike sneakers with a red swoosh).
Both of these Back to the Future costumes would be really successful if worn to an 80s fancy dress party. If you could convince one of your friends to dress as the other character, the positive effect would be doubled.
You could also get more creative and make your own, but most people don’t want to go through the trouble. Unless you plan these things a long time in advance, you will probably end up, like most of us, scrambling for a costume the night before or maybe even earlier the same day of the party.
But, if you do happen to plan ahead of time and are going with a group, you could get a whole cast together. You know, you could get everyone one to be a different character. You’ve got Doc and McFly, now you need George McFly and Lorraine. Then, someone a bit bigger in stature could be Biff. If there is a cute little one in the crowd, she could play Jennifer Parker.
You get the idea. The more people you have on board with the costume theme, the better the effect and the more zany you could act. That’s what it’s really all about anyway, isn’t it? Have fun and remember, don’t drive 88 miles per hour!
