Caring for Your Travel Printer
Caring for a travel printer is no different than caring for a home or office printer. They all have to be cleaned regularly or they start leaving lines in the print, smudging and/or jamming the paper. The good thing is that most of the cleaning procedures are automated. Check in your owner’s manual for the best way to clean the heads on your travel printer. If you don’t have a manual, go to the manufacturer’s website. Nearly all the major manufacturers have PDF formatted owner’s manuals complete with troubleshooting guides to help you through the process. Never use caustic solutions to clean your machine as it may damage components and void the warranty. One thing is for sure – a clean, well-maintained travel printer will give you longer, more satisfying service.
