The slider, for example appears to be a little clunky as compared to other Samsung phones. It really works completely differently. The design is really close to another Samsung model and that is the D600. However this is not an issue.
The price seems fair especially when it comes to the specifications; especially the Bluetooth and the infrared, as well as the expandable memory slot. The camera on the other hand has a few flaws, being as it only has 2 megapixels. The headset that it comes with and the music player have weak qualities. In addition, there are limitations of the themes and message tones that are available. The keypad is cool however as it is sensitive to the touch and heat and the phone is not bad looking as it is mostly black with some silver. Samsung did a really great job on the design.
Once you activate the touch pad, it actually glows with a soft white color. This color can look very appealing against the black base.
If that’s not enough, when you turn the phone on there are keys that light up which really helps when you are using the phone. They are the keys for the menu and the address book. So if you want to make a call in the dark, these keys are lit up for easy access. And once you switch over to the MP3 player three more keys light up. They are the play, pause and forward/back buttons. So you know if you are in phone mode or in the MP3 player mode.
Overall, the Samsung e900 phone is a really neat little phone with some really cool features to use.
