Cheap Pots To Plant Your Flowers

If you like the idea of having plants and flowers all around your house, then chances are that you own more than one flower pot.  There are many different types of garden pots from which to choose.  The problem, however, is that when you use the pots indoors you usually want ones that look a bit more decorative than those standard clay pots you see for a few bucks at the garden center or home improvement store.  When you go to buy more decorative pots, though, you quickly find that they’re usually rather expensive, and that money can add up quickly if you have a few different sets of plants or flowers situated around your house.

One solution to that is to buy a few flower pots cheap at the craft store, home improvement store or garden center.  You know, those clay ones that we were just talking about but that are better used for outdoor use than messing up the interior décor of your house, but that only cost a few dollars.  Then you can get to work to enhance the beauty of those pots by decorating them yourself for just a small bit of money.

There are so many options for making yourself a nice pot in which you would be proud to display some flowers or a plant within your house.  And the best thing is that it is an easy project to do!  You can use paint (it should be acrylic paint and not waterproof paint or it will come off when you water the flowers), or you can use oil pastels or another medium.  You can even cover the pot with fabric and just tie a pretty ribbon around it to secure the fabric, or you can create a collage with a bit of that modge podge stuff to add some interest.  You can also add other embellishments to add to the interest of your pot.  No matter what you choose, you should be left with a beautiful home for your indoor flowers!
