Fear of Bed Canopies!
When I bought my daughter a pretty bed canopy so that I could make her a lovely princess style canopy bed I was a little shocked when she screamed at me and burst into tears. What on earth had I done to warrant this type of behaviour. Well it turns out that my daughter, Julie, has some kind of weird and unexplainable fear of canopies for beds. Yeah I know, too strange. I figured at first that she suffered from some sort of claustrophobia and that was why shy didn’t like the canopy cover but it turns out it really is something to do with the texture and feeling of the bed canopy itself.I guess she’ll never go and live in any country where a mosquito net is a necescity!
