Free Diabetic Testing Supplies
If you meet certain criteria, it’s possible that you may qualify for free diabetic testing supplies. For instance, Medicare has a program to provide free supplies to those in cases where there regular insurance is not enough to cover the medications that they need. In order to be eligible, however, you need a sign-off from your medical doctor stating that you need certain testing supplies. If your doctor can document your need for more extensive diabetic testing supplies, Medicare will up your limit. Because of inflation and rule changes, these limits are always changing. To find the most current limits you need to talk either to your doctor or to your local pharmacy. But even if you can’t obtain free testing supplies, you’ll find that many pharmacies offer programs for people in financial difficulties to help them with the expenses.
