How To Get In Shape
Relearning how to get in shape can be difficult if you haven’t exercised in a while. Also, even thinking about beginning an exercise program can be tough for those of us that have trouble getting off of our couch. We know from past experiences that it’s a lot of work. Plus, we’re so used to being immobile and sedentary that it seems like a great effort to upset that equilibrium.
The best way is to start slow. Start by exercising about 3 times a week. What’s easier, exercising three times a week for a short time. Gradually, lengthen the time you spend each day until you are able to exercise for about half an hour. Then gradually try to increase the number of days to 5 or 6, even if you aren’t exercising for the full half hour on all of those days.
