Natural Ways to Fight Acne

For one, never let your hair touch your face. Your hair is exposed to dust, dirt, pollution, sweat etc. and whenever your hair comes into contact with your face, it can spread the infection; thereby causing whiteheads, blackheads and other types of acne to occur. If you sport a long hair, it is best that you use hair pins or you can also ponytail your hair, so you prevent it from coming into contact with your face.
Never wash your face using soap too often. This might irritate your skin, especially if you are not sure if the soap you are using is mild or gentle enough for frequent use. As a suggestion, wash your face for at least twice a day with the use of a mild facial wash. You must also exfoliate at least four to five times per week to shed those dead skin cells and promote new cells to regenerate. The combination of sandalwood paste and rose water is also a great way to clear away those nasty looking blackheads and whiteheads. Simply mix the two and apply the solution on the affected part of your face or skin and leave it there overnight. You can rinse it off the following morning with the use of cold water.
Eating a well balanced diet is also an effective solution to your skin problem. Studies have shown that the more nutritious foods you eat, the healthier your skin will become.
