Putting Up Motorhome Awnings
Being able to put up your motorhome awning quickly is a great advantage. Once you reach the camp site you want to be set up and comfortable as soon as possible. This reduces the stress involved with camping. Many arguments have started over the smallest things after a long days travelling.
Retractable awnings are the simplest to put up as this can be done in a few minutes by turning a winch, or if it is motorised, by just pressing a button. Bigger motorhomes awnings require more work, but if you practise at home first you can quickly get the hang of erecting them. Unfolding the canopy and attaching the doors and windows is probably the hardest part, and this can be more difficult in windy weather. Two people may be needed to complete this task.
