  1. Forums: There are some very good writers forums online, and these are the places where many established writers love to give free advice to beginners to help others make it as writers and to avoid the same mistakes they made as beginning writers.
  2. Writing blogs: This is also an excellent one.  There are literally thousands of talented writers out there, and several hundred of them at least who have quality blogs taht offer good useful information for beginners.
  3. Best of articles: “100 best websites to write for” or “20 resources no writer should be without” are just two great examples.

Hopefully this article gives you an idea of some of the many resources online and where to look for them.  So if you’re a new freelance writer just getting moving, look around a little, find some good spots, and then take this one piece of advice even if you ignore everything else: get started.  You won’t regret it.
