Time is probably one of the scariest things, at least in my opinion. You only have so much of it, you have to use it in order to get somewhere in life, and the people around you could run out of it at any point. This also includes you. Sometimes I wake up in the morning feeling very disconnected from the world. I look at my gold watch and it feels almost surreal that another day has passed and the new one is beginning. I feel as though maybe I’m not doing what I should with my time. Is this really how I want to spend my life? It seems so sad that we spend such a huge part of our life working. But I also think about how worked can be beautiful. Sometimes its through work that people find out who they really are. I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but I do believe that it is important to try and get some type of enjoyment from your work considering you will most likely be doing it for the majority of your lifetime. I know that I don’t want to spend my life working though, and I want to spend my life with the people that are important to me. I would like to have plenty of money one day, but that’s not even as important to me as just having enough money to be able to enjoy my family and friends.
