Probably the biggest market in the world for the homeowner loan is in the United Kingdom. This is really explained by the different use of terminology in different western countries. In the UK a loan secured on your property is called a homeowner loan. In the US the term used for a property may be completely different, so that although the term homeowner appears to be logical and meaningful in actual fact it is not the phrase used everywhere in the world for what is in effect a secured personal loan.
