Unforgettable Arizona Golf
Arizona is one of the world’s premier golf destinations. Arizona’s golf courses are very spectacular and diverse. There are more than 300 courses across the state. They have traditional style courses, along with more difficult courses.
One of the favorite places to golf in Arizona is located at Whirlwind Golf Club’s Cattail golf course in Chandler, Arizona. It has a reputation as a “playable golf course”. Most people find this course to be very enjoyable and easy to work on golf swing fundamentals.
Another fine golf course is the Five-star Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona, which is a suburb of Phoenix. You don’t realize how challenging this course is until you are driving away and then you think “wow, I really played that course”. The green fees are more reasonable than some of the other courses.
If you like pot bunkers than Arizona State University’s Karsten Golf Course is the one for you. This is definitely a Pete Dye golf course. Even at a par 70, every golfer loves this course. It has everything a die-hard golfer could want including hills, curves and even railroad ties.
We can’t forget We-ko-pa, which opened in 2001 in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is now called Cholla Course and is ranked the 35th best public course in the country.
Prescott Golf and Country Club gets many votes for being the best for catering to women and seniors.
Of course, we can’t forget one of the few truly original golf experiences left in Scottsdale, and that is Talking Stick Golf Club. No, it’s not a terrifically challenging course, but it is down right fun. The best part is the beautiful mountain view setting. Sometimes the view is so breath-taking, you actually forget about your golf, but only for a moment.
