Who Should NOT Use Self Tanning Lotion
Despite all the hype around tanning salons and the various products to supply the rising consumer demand for anything that produces darker skin tone there are some products that should be avoided. Self tanning lotion is generally regarded as a very safe way to achieve that golden glow without resorting to baking your skin in dangerous ultraviolet rays. However, there are some skin types that should not be allowed to make contact with sunless tanning lotions and sprays. These products are ineffective against most skins that have either suffered from severe sun damage. Any person with freckled skin or aged skin should not use tanning lotions either. Less discriminately, some individuals will quickly discover if they are allergic to particular formulas. The way to discover any potential problems is by apply a small amount to a small area and allowing 24 hours to test for a reaction.
