Wrist Tattoo Designs

There was a time when tattoos were considered much more rare than today.  They had a certain brashness to them, a statement.  Freedom of expression is even more prevalent nowadays, pushing the popularity of skin art into further and further realms of design and creativity.  Seeing arm tattoos is common and the same with tattoos on the lower and upper backs.  Even ankle and neck tattoos are slowly catching up.  A particular location that hasn’t been saturated yet is the wrist.  If you want to feel totally different, you can choose to wear wrist tattoo designs.

Some of the more popular designs for the wrist are tribal patterns and other features that wrap around the entirety of your wrist.  Other designs call for a simple image or design just on the part of your wrist where you would check your pulse, called the anterior aspect of your wrist.  This way, it isn’t always visible with your arms at your side.

The wrist tattoo comes as the perfect choice for those who dare to be different, since the area is formally accepted as the location for wristwatches and jewelry.  If you sport skin art on your wrists, you will come off as striking.  Many people would think you’re cool just because you chose to wear a tattoo on an unusual body part and that’s excluding the significance and appearance of the pattern.

However, this area should be especially thought out.  Not that all tattoos aren’t, but the wrist especially so.  Like with all locations, the pain is more subjective to the person.  Some people don’t even flinch with a tattoo on their neck.  Others, even with the most fleshy body regions, will wince in pain.

Be warned, this area is not for someone just starting out practicing with their new tattoo kit or tools.  Since this area will be visible in most any situation, you’ll want an experienced professional to do the job.
